Banquet Hall

The International Trade Center is a banquet hall in downtown Fresno, formerly the P.G.& E. building. The hall, now used for banquets was originally constructed by the Wishon Family in 1924. At that time, the banquet facilities were known as "San Joaquin Power and Light." Banquet attendees will notice the old bronze plaques positioned above the entries to the banquet building with the original logo.

14 beveled glass chandeliers and 23 ceiling spotlights provide lighting throughout the banquet hall. Each of the pre-banquet lights is controlled with a dimmer system allowing for various settings and effects during any banquet or function.

Three quarter inch glass entry door with brass base and headers will lead banquet guests into the San Francisco style interior of the banquet hall. Banquet attendees are usually impressed with prestige of the banquet facilities and the banquet hall. In the meantime, let’s give you a brief look at banquet facilities, banquet hall and banquet services by the Chiminello Catering Company. Your banquet event at the Grand Ballroom includes the elegant San Francisco-style Grand Ballroom with a minimum of 150 adult dining guests for Saturday banquet events and a minimum of 100 adult dining guests for Sunday through Friday banquet events. You can choose either Sit-Down or Buffet style service with banquet seating to 350 people.

Banquet hall & banquet facilities set-up and clean-up are included in the price; along with a damage/cleaning loss deposit. Banquet guests will be seated on eight-person round banquet tables with the white wood gazebo chairs; an elevated banquet head table will be provided, if needed. Inside the banquet hall, you will have a choice of linen colors and brides for banquet table skirting and eight foot white eight foot white lighted pillars behind the head banquet table (if needed).

A draped gift table, cake table and guest book table will be set up inside the banquet facilities. Standing reserved signs or table numbers will be provided by the banquet facilities, if necessary.

Inside the banquet hall, you will be served by uniformed banquet staff with tuxedo shirt, vest and black bow tie. The banquet facilities are equipped with a P.A. system with cordless microphone to be used during the banquet.

For your banquet, lighted fichus trees will be placed throughout the banquet hall. The banquet facilities are equipped with controlled heating and air conditioning; a turn of the century ladies lounge is located in the banquet building.
